There's the English Wiki page which is really sad and empty, but if you can read it then the French Wiki page is marginally better. Or I can vouch for most of the accuracy (minus typos) in this compendium. The parts directly relevant to the time period Remi's adventures occupy up in start at the section named after him, three quarters down, and run until the end of the page.
In that page, there's a little bit of canon missing in between "Grany would remain a cat forever," and "Remington's next major appearance." In this approximately year-long span, Remington spent time alternatively looking for weapons to defeat Ush Galesh and trying to find another way to turn his brother back into a human. Along the way he'd clash with his cousin, get practically disowned by his father (Kouto Smisse, the King of Rogues), steal a bunch of crap, and feel really out of place at fancy tea parties. Unfortunately, I can't elaborate particularly much on these events because the comics they take place in have not been scanned yet!
(Also if this isn't enough info, I've got an extremely thorough five-page history I can attempt to pare down, too!)
Personality:
Every series rife with fantasy tropes needs a Dickass Thief and to fill this particular quota, Wakfu has Remington Smisse, of the renowned Smisse clan. Equal parts oily, smooth-talking vagabond and shoot-'em-up Man With No Name, Remi embodies everything Smisses and their wide-reaching family of Rogues stands for: if it moves, kill it. If it shines, plunder it!
Although he's on a quest to collect as many demon-weapon Shushu as possible and presumably use the world as his footrest, Remi is not without his good qualities. The one thing that any Smisse values most, even above treasure, is family. It's why even though his little (much bigger) brother was turned into a cat-like chacha, Remi sticks by his side, presumably to find a cure. The Brothers Smisse were and are still a duo, and Remi will always stay by someone he considers family, to the ends of the earth and beyond.
Problem is, it's just a tad difficult gaining that level of companionship. See, Rogues aren't exactly known for their trustworthiness, and they are likewise loathe to extend their trust in others. Remi has, on more than one occasion, double-crossed someone who just did him a good turn for no other reason than to double-cross them. Kind-hearted chumps like those are just there to be manipulated! This is even more true after his run-in with demi-god Ush Galesh -- in his desperation to find a way to beat the guy, he's willing to take advantage of anyone, anything, whatever will give him a leg up. Theatrical, showy, and not a little bit of a ham, he's prone to great gleeful gestures of victory -- laughter, taunting, and just about everything else in the Giant Douchebag Handbook... Even if it bites him in the ass and costs him said victory. It's just about the only thing preventing him from being a really exceptional Rogue.
It's why he's lucky to have his brother there by his side -- because although Remington is, undoubtedly, the smarter and more calculating of the Brothers Smisse, he is a tad more prone to doing stupid and reckless shit for the sake of the thrill. Things like, but not limited to: passing up a perfectly good chance to steal something from someone while they were sleeping, just because it'd be boring; accepting dangerous missions just because they're dangerous; and attacking someone that'd helped him twice in the span of five minutes, just for shits and giggles. His brother suggests, once, that Remi has a death wish... And he can't really disagree.
Yes, it's kind of a trial working with this guy. Not that it's impossible, of course, he'll team up with someone if it benefits him. In fact, he's got a sort of charisma that can make him a decent leader sometimes if he's working with similarly-minded people. Goody two-shoes just shouldn't go crying to somebody else when he milks them for what they're worth then pulls a fast one. He makes and breaks alliances and thinks nothing of the consequences. That's what being a Rogue's all about!
Abilities:
Remi has a extensive working knowledge of most weapons, at any given time making use of a gauntlet, bastard sword, dagger, boomerang, war-hammer, and a set of pistols (strongly favouring that last one.) As Rogues have no flashy magic or exceptional physical strength to speak of, unlike most of the other inhabitants of the World of Twelve, his technical skill has to more than make up for his lack of ability in those areas. In general, Rogues are skilled with weapons, explosives, anything you have to tinker with, and the noble art of dirty trickery and showmanship.
Just think of him as Batman. But with a cat.
Besides martial skill, Remington is just about the most nimble thing on two legs you could ask for. Rooftop chases and impressive feats of acrobatics are all in a day's work for a thief, and he pulls off his slippery moves with great aplomb. What he can't intimidate, he kills. What he can't kill, he cheats to snatch an unfair advantage, and then kills. If all else fails, run like hell! Nothing's too low or cowardly for a Smisse: even biting the hand that feeds.
Of particular note are his armaments: in the world of Wakfu there's a plane of existence called Shukrute, on which reside the demon-like Shushu. Thanks to some stuff that happened in the way way past, they're forced to take the form of weapons when on the earth. Humans can wield these magic weapons which neither dull nor require bullets, as long as they can stomach their tendency to play dirty tricks on their owners. Remi came into possession of five of these living arms, and relies on their punch in combat: his gauntlet can grant him a great boost of physical strength; his sword is sharp enough to slice through a building; his boomerang dagger always returns to his hand (cackling all the way); and his two pistols... Speak for themselves.
Sample Entry: Here, have one really old d_m post and also another more recent one! They're with the same person because no one else knows Wakfu, sob (also the theme is I THOUGHT WHAT WE HAD WAS SPECIAL!)
OH I FORGOT he was in a game once, here's the latest post I made with him during that time.
